Visual Kei Chainmaille Necklace

My first attempt at chainmailleish jewelry that actually worked.

This is a custom piece, commissioned by one of my Etsy clients. It has acrylic spikes and glass pearls in the center that were tricky to get to cooperate, but I'm happy with the result.

This is one of my favorite pieces to date. It just sort of came together. XD

Lots of things in this one: silver plated chain, freshwater pearl, faceted glass beads, acrylic spikes, and some flat hematite nuggets I had on hand. It's strung on black stretch netting, and I made it long enough so that you can wear it as a long necklace or double it up as a choker. I am definitely making more like this.
