I showed Kaye at Studio 505: Branching out Freestyle show in Citrus heights. There were ten designers at the show in all, and it was put on by the American River College Student Fashion Council.
The shirt is a repurposed T-shirt that is knotted in the back, and the skirt is made from a shiny black linen. Things I learned from making this skirt:
-Interfacing the individual sections of the skirt would have been a wise idea, especially since linen wrinkles when you look at it.
-Zippers are not intimidating. XD
I made the choker from a black zipper, and added chains, eyelets, assorted charms and other visual kei-ish fodder. The boots are the model's own.
